Frank Ocean For Gayletter Magazine And His 3 Year Relationship

Frank Ocean is slowly opening up about his private life.

In a candid interview about his career and his intuition with Gayletter, the “Blonde” singer, 31, shared that he is indeed in a relationship.

When asked what it’s like to date, Ocean said, “I don’t use dating apps. I’ve been in a relationship for three years.”

He added that he wasn’t using apps before then, but he doesn’t think he would use them now either. “I f–k with Marc Jacobs’ philosophy on that, so I wouldn’t rule it out, but it is a little hectic being a famous person on dating apps.”

It’s unclear what “philosophy” Ocean is referring to, but Jacobs said “goodbye” to Grinder in 2015 after his orgy made headlines.

Ocean doesn’t name the lucky person in his life.

When Ocean isn’t busy recording new music, working on his photography or designing his own sneakers, he might be found at the nearest rock climbing park.

“I’ve been doing it for years,” he said. “I’m not like a god of rocking climbing or anything, but I do enjoy it. The routes are like little problems. I like problem-solving. It’s kind of a solo sport if you’re bouldering, so you don’t need to organize anything to go.”

Ocean also said it’s a good way to workout instead of a routine trip to the gym. “It’s super relaxing,” he added. “I mean, it wouldn’t be relaxing if I was coming at it like [rock climbing god] Alex Honnold, out here risking my life. But the way I approach it is pretty calm.”

Ocean also gave fans a glimpse into his TV-watching habits, or lack thereof.

In addition to “Chef’s Table,” Handmaid’s Tale” and “Grown-ish,” Ocean is a small fan of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” He would also entertain the idea of being a guest judge, noting: “Of all the talent shows on TV, that would be the most likely.”
