Police in Kansas City, Kansas, said they have made an arrest in the fatal shooting of a teenage girl on Friday.
Brannae Brown, 15, was spending the night with a friend at Chelsea Plaza in the 5000 block of Freeman Avenue and was sitting on the front step when shots rang out at 6:35 p.m.
Witnesses said the shooters drove by and fired shots.
Brown died a short time later. She was a sophomore at Harmon High School in Kansas City, Kansas.
Two people who were with Brown were injured in the shooting but are expected to be OK.
Police said charges are pending in the case.
